Account Manager

SepiSolar is looking for a competitive and experienced Account Manager to help grow and expand SepiSolar’s sales activities. This role will be responsible for managing customer relationships and expectations, providing administrative support to the Sales team, and working collaboratively with Operations and Engineering teams to streamline best practices and standards. This is a critical role that will build customer confidence, instill company professionalism and image, all while maintaining consistent, reliable communications and service. The Account Manager should be detail-oriented, a great communicator, and have a passion for learning about renewable energy, specifically, solar PV, energy storage, and micro-grids. The role requires quality communication and writing skills to interface successfully with leads, opportunities, and customers through phone and email.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Account management
    • Customer relationship management
    • Setting proper expectations for lead time, scope of work, and budgeting
    • Follow-up
    • Main point-of-contact for customer base
  • Sales administration
    • Pre-qualifying inbound leads
    • Scheduling appointments for Sales Executive
    • On-boarding paperwork processing
    • Proposal and quote generation
    • Market research
    • Email and phone prospecting (no “cold” leads)
    • Top of funnel pipeline management
  • Collaborate with marketing, engineering, operations, project management, and executive teams

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as an Account Manager or relevant role
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce
  • Experience with DocuSign
  • Thorough understanding of negotiating techniques
  • Fast learner and passion for sales
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven approach
  • Aptitude in delivering attractive presentations
  • Superior communication skills both verbally and written at various corporate levels, both internally and externally

Additional Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently
  • Time management skills
  • Knowledge of solar design or construction a plus

Work Location and Status:

  • California
  • Travel may be required, with little notice
  • Full-Time Employment
  • No visa sponsorship
