Job Description

SepiSolar is looking for a competitive and experienced Technical Sales Executive to help grow and expand SepiSolar’s business activities. This role will be responsible for discovering, developing, and pursuing new sales opportunities and customer relationships while maintaining positive customer experiences and providing feedback to marketing and engineering teams where appropriate.

This position’s goal is to meet and surpass the company’s expectations to drive rapid and sustainable growth. This is a critical role that will work intimately with the engineering and marketing teams, as well as new customers in order to build confidence, instill professionalism, and maintain consistent, reliable service.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Conduct market research to identify selling possibilities and evaluate customer needs
  • Actively seek out new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking, and social media
  • Set up meetings with potential clients and document their requirements and preferences
  • Prepare and deliver appropriate sales materials
  • Create reports and summaries on all sales activities for management and executive teams
  • Represent the company at exhibitions, seminars, or conferences
  • Negotiate/close deals and resolve any sales disputes post-sale
  • Collaborate with marketing, engineering, accounting, executive, and management teams to achieve best results

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a technical sales executive or relevant role in solar or storage industry
  • Proficiency in English
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce
  • Thorough understanding of marketing and negotiating techniques
  • Fast learner and passion for sales
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven approach
  • Aptitude in delivering attractive presentations
  • Superior communication skills both verbally and written at various corporate levels, both internally and externally

 Additional Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently
  • Time management skills
  • Knowledge of electrical design theory and concepts a plus
  • Knowledge of mechanical design a plus
  • Knowledge of residential and commercial construction a plus

 Work Location and Status:

  • Fremont, California
  • Travel may be required, with little notice
  • Full-Time Employment
  • No visa sponsorship
