Court was born in Olympia, Washington and attended the University of Washington, where he received a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering in 2015. With a keen interest in energy and the environment, he valued early opportunities to work within the solar industry during his studies. After graduating, Court brought his passion and experience to SepiSolar, where he has enjoyed problem-solving and designing solar solutions for projects across the country. Court initially provided design reviews and soon began drafting residential permit packages. A strong knowledge base and rigorous dedication to his work propelled him to greater responsibility, new challenges, and “employee of the year” honors in Court’s first year at SepiSolar. Thereafter, he took on a primary commercial and industrial systems designer role with a focus on utility-interactive energy storage. Court is now SepiSolar’s quality control engineer, which ensures that every SepiSolar design meets the company’s quality standards and zero permit-revision goals.
