Job Description:

SepiSolar is looking for a Solutions Engineer to work within an account management team to achieve key sales milestones and goals. This includes qualifying scopes of work, consulting with clients on technical and engineering solutions, leveraging in-house tools to generate proposal and contract documents that satisfy client pain points, as well as being a knowledgeable, technical resource internally and externally. In addition, this role will have the unique opportunity to identify new product or service initiatives and develop those programmatically in collaboration with engineering team leads, principals, operations, sales, and marketing.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Support sales proposals, sales development, and marketing activities
  • Provide sales and client-facing support by developing and delivering technical presentations to prospective and existing customers
  • Liaise with client’s personnel to manage due diligence and document exchange for project engineering requirements
  • Collaborate with Engineering and Operations departments on client interest or feedback relating to new capabilities, tools, resources, and service initiatives
  • Represent SepiSolar at industry advocacy events, trade events, committee meetings, and/or associations
  • Develop scopes of work within company’s task order and cost code structure to generate proposals and contract documents
  • Advise SepiSolar management on improvements to work product and process
  • Assist in identifying target sales and market opportunities based on customer requests and SepiSolar’s capabilities

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Ability to manage time-sensitive deliverables with competing deadlines
  • Proven experience as a technical lead in the solar industry or equivalent field
  • Experience in presenting complex concepts to unknowledgeable or unexperienced parties, both internal and external
  • Demonstrated knowledge of project origination, development, planning, execution, and ongoing asset operations
  • Understanding of construction, procurement methods, principles, means and methods
  • Familiarity with solar, battery, and micro-grid technology, markets, and policy
  • Electrical Engineering college degree a plus
  • PMP, NABCEP, and DBIA certifications a plus
  • MS Office and presentation skills a plus (Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint)
  • Fast learner and passion for solving problems
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven approach

Compensation:

  • $75,000 – $105,000 base compensation
  • Matching 401k available
